Choosing a Manufacturer

Do curved sofas require mold opening?

No. Standard curved models are produced with CNC cutting and paper patterns — no molds are involved.

Why are curved sofas more expensive than straight sofas?

The extra cost comes from fabric cutting waste, assembly labor, and larger packaging volume. Final price is confirmed by model and fabric.

Can you make just one piece?

Yes, we can make a sample. MOQ for mass production is confirmed by model, fabric, and structural complexity.

Can you work from just an online image?

We can produce a close style match, but dimensions and structure cannot be replicated exactly. We recommend having our team produce drawings for confirmation first.

Sampling & Lead Time

Do you charge for sampling?

FEILIGE offers free drawings within 1 day and sampling within 7 days. Sample fees and any offset policy are confirmed by model and order quantity.

Is sampling necessary?

Yes for curved and special-shaped sofas. Confirming the sample against drawings and specifications before mass production avoids costly rework.

How much longer is the lead time for curved models?

The extra time is mainly in front-end sampling and structural confirmation. Our published schedule is 7 days for sampling and 15 days for delivery.

What is the ODM schedule?

7 days sampling, 15 days delivery, free drawings in 1 day, and reply within 24 hours.

Customization & Pricing

Why do two quotes for the same sofa differ so much?

Usually because the five key parameters are not aligned — dimensions, internal frame, fabric grade, filling, and quantity. Confirm all five before comparing.

Can I get a quote before sending fabric swatches?

Yes, but the price may be adjusted after the fabric is confirmed. We recommend confirming fabric in parallel.

Do quotes include shipping?

Usually not, unless FOB/CIF terms are explicitly stated. Provide the destination port when requesting a quote.

Can the curvature be changed?

Yes, but changing the curvature means redoing the paper patterns and fabric cutting — it is treated as a new development, not a size tweak.

Craft & Quality

Why do some curved sofas look "not curved enough"?

Usually because the frame uses too few segments and relies on fabric tension. True curvature should be defined by the panel shape.

Why are curved sofas more expensive?

Cutting waste, assembly labor, and packaging volume — confirmed by model and fabric.

Do curved sofas sag easily?

Sagging comes from insufficient foam density or loose joints, not the curved structure itself. Verify through our five-point inspection.

Factory Inspection

Do I need to book a factory visit?

Yes, the factory needs to arrange reception and a production-line tour. We recommend booking one week in advance.

Can I take photos during the visit?

Most areas allow photos of the workshop and showroom. Customer-order areas may be restricted — please confirm in advance.

Can I place an order on-site?

We do not recommend it. A factory visit is for risk assessment; you should still confirm structure and materials through sampling before ordering.

Is a factory visit worth it for small batches?

Yes. Checking the factory first costs less than switching suppliers after problems arise.
